Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 6 years in software testing
- At least 4 years of mobile test automation experience
- Proficient in Appium and Cucumber, with experience in building automation frameworks from the ground up
- Familiarity with the ALM Octane framework
- Strong knowledge of mobile device architecture and hands-on experience with physical device testing
- Excellent analytical skills, focusing on debugging and root cause analysis for mobile testing environments
- Willingness to travel for business purposes as needed
- Knowledge of BDD (Behavior Driven Development) practices is a plus
- Experience with cloud-based mobile testing platforms like Sauce Labs
- Understanding of CI/CD tools, version control systems like Git, and Agile methodologies
- Previous experience in the Financial or Banking sector is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive mobile test automation frameworks using Appium and Java for both Android and iOS
- Create and maintain test scripts, test data, and reusable components to ensure scalable and maintainable automation
- Execute and troubleshoot automated test scripts on actual mobile devices to ensure performance and accuracy under real-world conditions
- Work collaboratively with developers, QA leads, and product teams to pinpoint high-risk areas and prioritize testing efforts
- Keep thorough documentation for framework architecture, test cases, and automation coverage
- Contribute to integration efforts by embedding automated scripts into CI/CD pipelines
- Remain updated with the latest tools, trends, and best practices in mobile automation and compliance
- Undertake additional tasks and special projects as assigned
