Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate relevant experience.
- At least four years of expertise in solution architecture and the mobile industry.
- Experience in web application development, responsive web design principles, and cross-device compatibility.
- Proficient in building and consuming web services using SOAP and REST.
- Ability to write unit, integration, and UI test cases.
- Familiarity with Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- Experience with Splunk for production support.
- Background in developing and supporting financial or banking applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and production support of PayPal applications by addressing bugs and ensuring operational excellence.
- Implement new technologies and assist developers during their transition.
- Architect applications across the full technology stack, including PCF, Cloud Native Application Architecture, Microservices, J2EE, Spring Java, and RESTful APIs.
- Design data models that facilitate complex business processes.
- Drive a Continuous Integration or Continuous Deployment strategy utilizing Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Deploy stack.
- Collaborate with software engineers, UX designers, product managers, application architects, and customer application specialists to build web applications.
- Lead Agile sprints as a technical authority.
- Ensure high-quality application code through development, testing, and Quality Assurance processes.
- Work with third-party vendors to develop software solutions and integrate them into our products.
