Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in full-stack development, particularly as a C# .NET Developer with a proven track record of successful projects.
- 2-3 years of experience in Accounting and Finance is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET 6+, with a solid grasp of architectural patterns such as MVC, Clean Architecture, and Minimal APIs.
- Experience in front-end development utilizing HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Familiarity with front-end libraries and frameworks like Razor Pages, Angular, JQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Hands-on experience in database design and development, specifically with Microsoft SQL Server and other database systems.
- Expertise in constructing optimized queries, stored procedures, and functions within SQL Server.
- Practical knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, MSTest) with an emphasis on maintaining strong code coverage.
- Solid understanding of Entity Framework and LINQ, particularly in performance tuning and query optimization.
- Proven ability to build RESTful APIs and familiarity with gRPC or other service communication techniques.
- Proficient with version control systems, especially Git.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and ECS.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and effective communication skills.
- High attention to detail and dedication to delivering impactful business solutions.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- A desire to explore and adopt new technologies and convey concepts effectively.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to manage the complete software development lifecycle, which includes design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous support.
- Engage in code reviews to uphold code quality, offer constructive feedback, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Work in partnership with internal teams to outline software design and architectural strategies.
- Produce clean, scalable code leveraging the .NET framework and diverse web technologies.
- Test and launch applications and systems, ensuring their reliability and performance.
- Utilize cloud services like AWS S3, AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, AWS Fargate, and Docker to create impactful applications.
- Refactor, enhance, and troubleshoot code to sustain and upgrade software applications.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ensure that testing aligns with each phase from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and technical specifications.
- Act as a technical authority on applications and provide support as required.
- Adopt a you build it, you own it mentality towards application development.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive data in accordance with company policies and protocols.
- Implement and adhere to best practices to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
- Set up telemetry to monitor and enhance the performance of .NET applications, identifying and resolving any bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
- Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
