Requirements
Must:
- 1–3+ years of experience in network engineering, ideally within enterprise or carrier settings
- Solid comprehension of WAN technologies, such as TDM, MPLS, OSPF, and BGP
- Proficiency in routing and switching platforms, particularly Cisco and Juniper
- 1-2 years of experience in provisioning MPLS circuits
- Capability to work autonomously and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong documentation and communication abilities
Responsibilities
- Support a large-scale initiative to replace and enhance network connectivity across 100 enterprise locations
- Coordinate the ordering, tracking, and delivery of new MPLS circuits in collaboration with the client Circuit ordering team, project manager, and internal infrastructure teams
- Validate site requirements and ensure accurate documentation of circuits
- Maintain visibility on progress throughout the procurement process
- Assist with the configuration and deployment of new network equipment, including routers, switches, and relevant security components after circuits are ordered
- Facilitate cutover activities, including configuration changes, testing, troubleshooting, and migration of each site to the updated MPLS environment
