Requirements
Must:
- Over 7 years of progressive experience in maintenance and repair of manufacturing and packaging equipment
- More than 1 year of supervisory experience in a technical role
- Background in machine design, installation, and repair with knowledge of PLC systems
- Proficient in AUTOCAD
- Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities
- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally, approximately 25-30% of the time
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field
- Preferred: Professional certifications in PLC programming, industrial maintenance, or similar areas
- Preferred: Experience with high-speed production equipment in a manufacturing setting
- Preferred: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD for creating technical drawings and equipment modifications
- Preferred: Solid understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
Responsibilities
- Conduct intricate troubleshooting and root cause analyses for failures in production equipment and process deviations
- Design, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce unplanned downtime
- Execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for newly installed or modified equipment
- Develop and carry out comprehensive plans for installation, commissioning, and validation of manufacturing equipment
- Analyze performance data from equipment and apply efficiency enhancements to optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Create technical drawings, schematics, and documentation utilizing AutoCAD and other engineering software
- Collaborate with engineering teams to facilitate equipment modifications and improvements in processes
- Evaluate and suggest equipment upgrades, replacements, and the adoption of new technologies
- Provide technical mentorship and training to maintenance technicians, operators, and cross-functional teams
- Coordinate with the Central Spare Parts (CSP) department to optimize parts inventory management and technical updates
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety protocols, and industry best practices
- Maintain adherence to regulatory and quality standards
- Undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned
