Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar discipline, and at least 7 years of increasing responsibility in the field. Alternatively, a Masters degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. - Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Struts, or Hibernate. - More than 5 years of experience working with relational databases (MySQL and/or Oracle). - Profound knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system architecture. - Experience in making complex decisions regarding backend architecture design. - Genuine enthusiasm for web technologies and a commitment to staying abreast of new tools and methodologies. - Comprehensive experience with the complete Software Development Lifecycle, including frontend and backend web application development, implementing business logic, and crafting user interfaces. - Capability to work independently with minimal technical oversight and adapt efficiently to numerous program priorities. - Proficiency in Linux, Shell, and Perl scripting, along with writing and executing UNIX commands, and utilizing Linux servers for debugging, deploying code, and monitoring software in both testing and production environments. - Familiarity with web servers such as Apache and Nginx. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

- Engage in every stage of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. - Create and implement reliable and scalable distributed systems. - Guarantee system reliability, optimize performance, and ensure adherence to security protocols. - Uphold industry-standard development practices, focusing on accessibility and privacy compliance. - Develop reusable code and libraries for future projects. - Analyze the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and collaborate with business analysts to refine project specifications. - Partner with project stakeholders and development teams to ensure design consistency and successful delivery of client-facing products. - Review technical designs and perform code evaluations. - Act as a mentor and resource for junior members of the team. - Assess requests to address features or issues raised by various internal departments, providing viable solutions and estimates. - Stay updated with current technical trends to support the ever-evolving technology landscape, collaborating with the team to integrate new technologies.
