Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data analysis role.
- Intermediate-level proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS, Stata, MATLAB).
- Experience querying relational databases (e.g., SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SQL) to extract data and solve business challenges.
- Strong understanding of quantitative analytics and data modeling.
- Proficient in Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., WebI, Analysis, Lumira, Tableau).
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to convey complex data insights to a non-technical audience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed data analysis to make informed business recommendations, including cost-benefit analysis, forecasting, and impact analysis.
- Generate actionable insights that guide our clients towards enhancing products, services, and customer satisfaction.
- Present findings and recommendations effectively to various stakeholders, utilizing visual representations of data.
- Ensure rigorous data stewardship through monitoring and maintaining data accuracy, cleansing plans, and integration strategies.
- Develop and oversee processes and standards to uphold data quality and consistency across the organization.
- Build and automate reports and dashboards to provide scalable insights for analytical needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and deliver comprehensive analyses through scorecards and dashboards.
- Train team members on self-service reporting methods and business intelligence tools.
Description
We are searching for an enthusiastic and meticulous Data Analyst to become part of our innovative team in Detroit, MI. In this role, you will leverage your analytical skills to convert intricate data into practical insights that enhance strategic decision-making. Our dynamic environment encourages collaboration across teams, enabling the use of advanced tools and methodologies to deliver impactful analytics solutions that empower all levels of our stakeholders. This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, on-site at the Walker Cisler Building, with a contract duration of 24 months. We offer competitive compensation ranging from $25.00 to $38.00 per hour.
