Palo Alto network engineer

- Minimum 5+ years of practical experience with Palo Alto Networks NGFW - Extensive knowledge of Panorama centralized management - Deep understanding of App-ID, User-ID, and Content-ID - Proficient in configuring security policies and NAT - Familiarity with zone-based firewall architecture - Experience in analyzing threat logs including malware, exploits, and C2 traffic - Knowledge of WildFire analysis and results -Understanding of DNS Security and URL filtering events - Solid foundation in network security principles - Familiarity with threat detection and response workflows - Strong grasp of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and VLANs - Knowledge of VPN technologies, including IPSec and GlobalProtect - Hands-on experience with packet capture tools - Capability in CLI-based troubleshooting - Proficiency in session-level traffic analysis - Experience with change management processes including CAB - Knowledge of incident management workflows - Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing systems - Ability to document configurations and procedures effectively - Capability to produce both operational and executive-level reports - Preferred certification in Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) - Additional relevant certifications such as Security+ or CISSP are advantageous
