Customer Development Rep

- Build a network of relationships with residential and commercial developers, builders, architects, engineers, trade partners, and city officials to enhance customer loyalty - Proactively engage with prospective clients to identify and develop new growth opportunities - Maintain regular contact with builders and developers regarding potential growth and survey territories for new construction activity - Educate prospective customers on the benefits of natural gas and promote the use of natural gas appliances - Collect and organize necessary information to support the design and installation of infrastructure for new customers - Verify types, sizes, and locations of natural gas equipment, marking proposed facilities for construction as needed - Assist in financial analysis by gathering and organizing project details to assess the cost and feasibility of new initiatives - Support the preparation of customer proposals, including contracts and invoices for contributions in aid of construction (CIAC) - Oversee project workflow and serve as a liaison between customers/contractors and our Engineering and Construction teams - Engage with various trade allies, business groups, and civic organizations - Foster relationships with community leaders to position Summit Utilities as a reliable energy partner - Facilitate the submission of new service leads and opportunities for the Customer Development team through local employees participating in the EGO program - Maintain and enhance leads within the C4C system - Generate notifications within SAP for address creation and new service requests - Collaborate closely with sales support to ensure timely resolution of customer issues
