Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in business analysis with a comprehensive understanding of analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and SQL-based platforms.
- Proficient in data analysis techniques including SQL querying, R programming, Python scripting, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and best practices for the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of database design principles for relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
- Experience with scripting languages such as VBA and Bash (Unix shell) for automation tasks.
- Ability to interpret linked data sources and perform thorough data analysis to support business decisions.
- Strong communication skills and capability to produce clear documentation using Visio or similar tools.
- Analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills; attention to detail is critical.
- Desirable skills include experience with Talend data integration tools and familiarity with analytics platforms like Looker or Power BI.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into precise technical specifications.
- Utilize tools including Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to create interactive dashboards and visualizations that aid strategic decision-making.
- Apply Agile methodologies to efficiently manage project lifecycles, from planning to execution and review.
- Design and optimize databases utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms; implement database design principles for scalability.
- Conduct extensive data analysis using SQL, R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and ETL tools like Talend to extract insights from complex datasets.
- Oversee the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring quality standards are upheld throughout all project phases.
- Construct process models and diagrams using Visio to visualize workflows and system architectures.
- Perform data integration tasks involving interconnected data sources to enhance analytical capabilities.
- Assist in project management tasks by tracking progress, managing timelines, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
