Requirements
Must:
- Over 3 years of experience in IT support
- Proficient understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and networking basics
- Background in fiber or structured cabling installations and maintenance
- Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and CompTIA certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+ is a plus
- Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and PowerShell scripting is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Monitor and uphold endpoint security measures, including firewalls, MFA, and email protection
- Address security incidents, alerts, and potential vulnerabilities promptly
- Administer patch management, mitigate vulnerabilities, and oversee access controls
- Offer support for fiber optics, structured cabling, switches, routers, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network outages and performance dilemmas
- Collaborate with internet service providers and vendors for installation and repair needs
- Deliver assistance for desktops, laptops, printers, and software applications
- Support Windows OS, Microsoft 365 applications, email platforms, and VoIP systems
- Facilitate user onboarding and offboarding, including training and access setup
