Requirements
Must:
- 6+ years of experience in web development, computer science, or a related area
- Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, PHP, and HTML for constructing and optimizing web components
- Skilled in troubleshooting and debugging functionality, performance, and compatibility issues
- Experience with API integrations and tools like Zapier to incorporate third-party services
- Ability to create and implement interactive, validated web forms with proper data handling
- Strong grasp of responsive design principles for cross-browser and mobile compatibility
- Familiarity with contemporary development tools such as Git, Docker, and NPM
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and team collaboration skills
- Highly organized, meets deadlines, and conveys information effectively
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on web development best practices
Responsibilities
- Contribute to web development and operational tasks while guiding the team as a technical leader
- Mentor junior developers through training sessions and documentation of best practices
- Collaborate closely with design, product, and infrastructure teams to align development with business objectives
- Provide technical guidance on web development standards, tools, and frameworks
- Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards and security protocols
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and suggest implementation when suitable
- Identify potential risks in projects and employ strategies to mitigate them
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Communicate complex technical concepts to clients in an understandable way, helping them see how solutions relate to their goals
- Address client requests through our ticketing system, managing both external and internal requests
- Work on existing websites across various ecosystems, including Studio 3’s proprietary CMS and WordPress
- Code new designs or modify existing web elements, including creating interactive forms and new pages
- Integrate third-party scripts for analytics, marketing tools, and payment gateways
- Assist with website migrations and domain-related issues
- Optimize site speed by implementing best practices and troubleshooting
