Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in JavaScript, CSS, PHP, and HTML for developing, modifying, and optimizing web elements.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and debugging functionality, performance, and compatibility issues.
- Experienced with API, Zapier, and other methods for integrating third-party services.
- Capable of creating and implementing interactive, validated forms with effective data handling.
- Strong understanding of modern web standards for responsive and mobile-compatible designs.
- Familiar with Git, Docker, NPM, or other contemporary web development tools.
- Independent worker who seeks assistance when necessary and possesses strong collaborative skills.
- Organized individual who meets deadlines and communicates effectively.
- Committed to continuous learning regarding best practices and emerging technologies in web development.
- Minimum of 6 years experience in web development, computer science, or a related discipline.
Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to web development and operational activities while providing technical leadership within the team.
- Mentor junior developers by leading training sessions, documenting best practices, and enhancing technical skills.
- Collaborate closely with design, product, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment of development goals with business objectives.
- Offer technical guidance on web development best practices, tools, and frameworks.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain adherence to coding standards and security measures.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend their adoption when relevant.
- Identify potential project risks and devise strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Communicate complex technical concepts simply to clients, ensuring their understanding of how solutions meet their needs.
- Manage client expectations and address misunderstandings in a client-facing capacity.
- Utilize our ticketing system to address requests from account managers and internal teams regarding client-related and internal needs.
- Work on existing websites within various ecosystems, such as our proprietary CMS, static sites, and WordPress.
- Code new designs or modify existing elements and sections as required.
- Create and implement interactive forms with appropriate data handling.
- Add additional content and create new web pages using provided content.
- Configure and integrate third-party scripts, including analytics, marketing tools, and payment gateways.
- Assist with website migrations and address DNS and domain-related issues.
- Optimize site speed through troubleshooting and implementing best practices.
