Requirements
Must:
- Over 4 years of experience in backend development, creating APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Node.js (TypeScript), Go, or PHP.
- Experience in designing and utilizing REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Knowledge of API authentication and authorization methods, including OAuth2, JWT, and API keys.
- Familiarity with event-driven or message-based architectures, such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka.
- Background in database management, specifically MySQL or PostgreSQL, including schema design and optimization.
- Experience with container deployment technologies like Docker and AWS ECS/Fargate.
- Comfortable with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, version control systems (Git), and Linux environments.
- Bonus: Familiarity with AWS Console/API.
Responsibilities
- Design, construct, and sustain backend services that power our CMS, CRM, and analytics platforms.
- Integrate both external APIs (Google, Meta, OpenAI, etc.) and internal systems into cohesive pipelines.
- Build secure and scalable data flows between microservices and third-party platforms.
- Work closely with product and frontend teams to establish clear service contracts using REST or GraphQL.
- Develop reliable, well-documented API endpoints and maintain internal SDKs for user consumption.
- Engage in system design assessments and contribute to enhancements in performance and observability.
- Ensure adherence to data privacy, authentication, and security protocols such as OAuth2 and JWT.
