Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Product Owner, with a proven track record in software-centric or systems-based settings, especially in regulated environments.
- Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies, including backlog management and release planning.
- Expertise in articulating system-level requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
- Knowledge of SAFe, SDLC, and product lifecycle management processes.
- Preferred: Experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, or other regulated sectors.
- Preferred: Certification as a Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Scrum Master (CSM).
- Preferred: Experience in supporting change management within complex organizations.
Responsibilities
- Transform product vision and strategy into detailed system, functional, and technical specifications.
- Adhere to Agile and Scrum principles, taking ownership of the product backlog to enhance customer and business value.
- Collaborate with UX and engineering to craft and refine user stories, workflows, logic diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Compose clear, precise user stories, technical tasks, and acceptance criteria that define the completion of all increments.
- Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and comprehensive feature review sessions.
- Spot dependencies, risks, and constraints; actively eliminate obstacles to meet sprint and release objectives.
- Serve as a communication bridge among marketing, customers/end-users, systems engineering, software, hardware, and quality teams.
- Generate product and system-level documentation to support releases, training, and internal coordination as needed.
- Act as a senior product owner, offering guidance and mentorship to junior product owners when necessary.
- Manage the prioritization framework and make significant trade-offs in scope, schedule, and resources to enhance Return on Investment (ROI) and customer value.
