Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Over 6 years of demonstrated experience in full-stack development.
- In-depth hands-on expertise with best practices in web and server-side development. Proven knowledge of modern web UI frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, and backend technologies like Node.js, Java, or Python.
- Skilled in contemporary software development methodologies, including microservices architecture and API development.
- Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases, notably MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Proficient in fundamental front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and uphold highly available, secure, and scalable full-stack applications using the MEAN stack or similar frameworks within a cloud-hosted environment.
- Transform and gradually migrate legacy Java services to Node.js.
- Connect applications with external systems and APIs utilizing modern, secure, and efficient methods.
- Create and execute automated testing frameworks and processes to ensure high code quality and dependability.
- Utilize cloud services, particularly Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services, to enhance application performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and DevOps, to grasp business requirements and convert them into technical specifications and deliverables.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders regarding development updates, risks, and solutions.
- Strive to enhance the knowledge and skills of yourself and others, promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment aimed at continuous growth and improvement.
- Regularly assess and enforce coding standards, continuously revising and enhancing technical protocols as necessary.
