Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, science, or a related field
- 0+ years of relevant experience
- Internship experience in quality, engineering, or manufacturing is highly preferred
- Familiarity with FDA QSR, ISO13485, ISO9001, and similar quality system standards
- Experience in managing nonconformances (NCs) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs)
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis methodologies
Responsibilities
- Uphold compliance and quality benchmarks for repair and refurbishment operations.
- Spearhead the adoption of process enhancements to improve efficiency and mitigate regulatory risks.
- Propel continuous improvement projects to decrease lead times, costs, and quality concerns.
- Monitor and assess crucial quality metrics, taking proactive corrective measures as needed.
- Handle and oversee nonconformances (NCs) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs) related to designated products.
- Diagnose moderately complex product quality challenges through data-driven analysis.
- Ensure thorough documentation for inspection, testing, and repair processes, and educate technicians on updates.
- Collaborate with technicians and supervisors to streamline processes and fulfill demand requirements.
- Process supplier requests and manage accompanying documentation.
- Provide insights and assist with the adoption of repair and testing mechanisms and equipment.
- Validate equipment and third-party repaired components for compliance.
- Contribute to the development of new products by proposing efficient repair techniques grounded in current data.
- Support internal and external audits, including inspections by the FDA and Notified Bodies.
