Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Over 6 years of experience in embedded Linux development, particularly with 802.11 WLAN and Bluetooth
- Proficiency in IEEE 802.11 network implementation and protocols (n/ac/ax)
- Familiarity with enterprise security standards (EAP-TLS, EAP-Fast, PEAP, 802.11r)
- Knowledge of rate adaptation algorithms, power save modes, and QoS implementation
- Experience with modifications to Linux WPA supplicant and WiFi-BT coexistence
- Competence in Bluetooth integration within embedded systems
- Understanding of TCP/IP protocols (RTP, RTCP, SIP signaling)
- Background in Public and Private 5G technology
- Experience with UWB (Ultra-Wideband) technology
Responsibilities
- Design and develop wireless communication systems tailored for wearable technologies, focusing on 802.11 protocols and embedded Linux
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to guarantee seamless integration of wireless solutions
- Create and optimize WiFi and Bluetooth implementations, including coexistence strategies and energy efficiency
- Spearhead technical innovation and address complex issues in wireless communications
- Guide or mentor engineering teams on the design and development of wireless elements, sub-systems, and systems for medical wearables
- Apply and mentor others on sophisticated engineering theories, principles, and concepts across various products
- Convert user requirements into design specifications and produce system-level layouts and platform designs
- Innovate and contribute to the development of invention disclosures, patents, or trade secrets
- Conduct independent code reviews for projects and systems while adhering to design principles, coding standards, and industry best practices
