Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or alternatively, 6+ years of relevant work experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer technical support role dealing with hosted applications
- Willingness to travel (10%) and availability for late shifts or on-call duties as needed
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration
- Familiarity with troubleshooting Linux services and performance
- Proficiency with tools such as Command Line, Power Shell, Performance Monitor, or similar data-gathering tools
- Experience with log analysis and the ability to correlate multiple log types for thorough analysis
- Understanding of server virtualization technologies like VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V
- Basic knowledge of SSL/TLS certificates and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
- Fundamental grasp of authentication protocols such as LDAP and 802.1x
- Basic understanding of relational database systems and SQL scripting
Responsibilities
- Document and manage customer issues, providing outstanding customer service and setting proper expectations
- Monitor and respond to customer inquiries, facilitating timely communication and issue resolution
- Collaborate with colleagues to escalate and resolve complex problems
- Report product defects and submit enhancement requests
- Identify and advocate for product supportability requirements
