Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of professional experience
- 1+ years of experience in software testing and verification
- Proficient in C and/or C++ (preferred)
- Familiarity with embedded systems
- Experience with tools for static/dynamic analysis, memory management, and code coverage techniques
- Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g., Jama, DOORS, Polarion, Jira)
- Background in a regulated environment (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Develop and design comprehensive software testing and verification procedures according to established requirements and architecture
- Collaborate with hardware and software design teams to identify appropriate testing methodologies and tools
- Create test tools to improve test coverage, repeatability, and overall quality
- Analyze software and system requirements to determine optimal verification methods
- Document test procedures, forms, and accompanying materials
- Conduct root cause analyses for failures encountered during software testing
