Requirements
Must:
- Active Secret Security Clearance required.
- Associates Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2 years of experience with a Masters Degree.
- 4 years of experience with a Bachelors Degree.
- 6 years of experience with an Associates Degree.
- 8 years of experience at the FBI CJIS Division.
Responsibilities
- Develop, create, and modify general software applications or specialized utility programs.
- Analyze user requirements and engineer software solutions, customizing software to enhance operational efficiency and design databases within application areas.
- Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and networking distribution software in various sectors such as medical, industrial, military, and scientific applications.
- Establish operational specifications, determine and analyze software requirements, and design embedded systems software using principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
- Participate in scrum teams utilizing the SAFe methodology.
- Write code using Java, Python, Node, and PostgreSQL.
- Create and sustain front-end user interfaces (dashboards).
- Build backend message processing software.
- Generate and implement unit tests and automated testing.
- Develop microservices and perform code refactoring.
- Create and manage data synchronization tools and resolve issues.
- Oversee technical debt for products nearing end-of-life and their replacements.
- Retrieve team features from a dynamic product backlog.
- Create applications utilizing NIEM XML for communication with external clients.
