Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in computing concepts and fundamentals, including Windows and Mac operating systems
- Familiarity with standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
- Understanding of computer security policies and general security concepts
- Exceptional customer service skills with strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are advantageous
- Experience in a help desk environment
- Capability to work within established Service Level Agreements (SLA) and meet team objectives without leaving tasks unresolved
- Self-motivated individual requiring minimal supervision
- Physical ability to sit for extended periods and operate computer peripherals
- Willingness to travel for corporate or customer engagements as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide professional customer support by answering incoming calls, emails, and managing technical ticket requests
- Utilize our ticketing system to create comprehensive work logs and technical documentation
- Prioritize and manage help desk tickets efficiently
- Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, solutions, and user interactions within the ticketing system
- Properly escalate unresolved issues to higher levels of support
- Collaborate with teammates to determine optimal solutions for customers and create helpful articles for general reference
- Develop and update documentation for operational processes and procedures
- Handle logistics related to shipping devices to end users
- Manage the removal of hard drives and document them for destruction
