Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a focus in business administration or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in analyzing and documenting business processes, formulating standard operating procedures, or reengineering processes
- At least two (2) years of experience with financial sector or governmental account management information systems
- Proven experience in creating standard operating procedures and associated documentation for intricate business processes
- Demonstrated ability to recommend improvements or redesign business systems and processes
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience in designing and delivering training on newly implemented or improved processes
Responsibilities
- Identify, prioritize, execute, finalize, and report on continuous improvement initiatives across two divisions
- Develop documentation or training materials for current business operations
- Identify gaps in internal controls and propose remediation strategies
- Collaborate with technical support teams to design or enhance tools and workflows in existing applications including Excel, Sharepoint, PowerBI, ServiceNow, KAPS, and Revenue Premier
- Reengineer business operations to enhance efficiency, accuracy, cost-effectiveness, or employee satisfaction
- Conduct quality assurance testing and assist in the design and development of business processes transitioning to new applications

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in Annapolis, MD, with responsibilities that may extend to Baltimore, MD. This is a contract role expected to last for 10 months, with a schedule of 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
