Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field from an accredited university
- 5 to 10 years of progressively responsible technical experience
- Strong networking background is essential
- Experience with VMware vSphere and other server virtualization platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange, MS 365, Active Directory, and Entra ID administration
- Familiarity with HP and Dell/EMC storage solutions
- Experience with Veeam products is advantageous
- Knowledge of Fortinet, Cisco, Barracuda, Mimecast, and SentinelOne products is a plus
- Experience with Mitel/Ring Central phone systems is desirable
- Prior experience in a consulting environment is preferred
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Must reside in the Chicagoland area
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support VMware environments, including storage solutions with VLAN configurations
- Develop, implement, and maintain Microsoft solutions, including Active Directory, Exchange Server, Office 365, Entra ID, Hybrid Environments, and Hyper-V
- Design and support backup and disaster recovery strategies
- Deploy and manage related technologies, such as switches, routers, firewalls, and security systems
- Generate recurring revenue through high-quality technical solutions and exceptional customer service
- Act as the technical lead and expert on projects, supervising team members and ensuring project outcomes
- Provide product knowledge to uncover sales opportunities during customer engagements
