Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in PLC programming (215+ years)
- Proficiency in Allen-Bradley (RSLogix, Studio 5000) and Siemens (TIA Portal, Step 7) platforms
- Required automotive experience with GM Global Common, Ford FAST, and/or Stellantis platforms
- Full-cycle program development skills (not limited to debugging or maintenance)
- Practical, hands-on programming experience preferred; no formal degree required
- OEM experience is preferred but not mandatory
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and implement new PLC programs utilizing Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms
- Develop and integrate control systems for projects involving GM, Ford, and Stellantis
- Produce solid, standardized code adhering to GM GCCS and Ford FAST specifications
- Collaborate with engineering teams to establish control logic, HMI interfaces, and system architecture
- Conduct simulation and offline testing prior to implementation
- Provide support for startup and commissioning as required (though not the main focus)
- Ensure systems comply with OEM and customer requirements
