Vehicle Systems Release Manager, Structures & Mechatronics

- Ensure the availability and accuracy of all documentation for sourcing start-up - Develop milestone reviews and ensure all engineering KPIs are met for those milestones - Meet quality, material cost, investment, and timing targets as per program milestones - Conduct the Tool Kickoff process with suppliers to guarantee timely part delivery - Support build activities through problem-solving efforts - Lead the resolution of design or manufacturing issues faced by suppliers - Address outstanding issues urgently via corporate processes - Implement and oversee change management processes alongside engineers and managers - Manage project execution adhering to best practices for all vehicle versions - Ensure compliance with certification requirements for vehicle components - Create and maintain budgets for R&D projects, ensuring adherence to financial plans - Collaborate with various engineering and non-engineering teams to facilitate project development and launch - Assess pilot vehicle test plans and determine parts, quantities, and costs necessary for execution - Estimate labor hours required for engineers to develop new component designs - Verify dimensional stability and fit/finish for components during pilot builds to ensure quality
