We are seeking a Technical Team Leader who is adept at managing a cross-functional team dedicated to the definition and development of advanced propulsion systems. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in the technical development and enhancement of propulsion systems.
- Ability to lead risk management initiatives and resolve issues in collaboration with internal teams, an expertise network, and suppliers.
- Strong leadership skills to guide team members through the V-development process via simulation activities.
- Excellent communication skills for regular interaction with Chief Engineers, COEs, Component Engineers, and management, including those specialized in Propulsion Systems.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Overseeing the technical development and improvement of our propulsion system, ensuring it meets the highest standards.
- Leading risk management and troubleshooting efforts in partnership with various stakeholders.
- Guiding cross-functional teams to support the propulsion system development throughout its lifecycle.
- Collaborating with engine, controls, transmission hardware, vehicle platform, and powertrain synthesis teams to achieve cohesive project goals.
- Capturing and documenting lessons learned to adjust standards and methodologies accordingly.
