Requirements
Must:
- Extensive knowledge of relational database concepts, including data architecture, operational data stores, interface processes, multidimensional modeling, master data management, and data manipulation
- Proficient in custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance
- Robust experience in designing, implementing, and refining data pipelines using Big Data technologies
- Proven capability in working within cross-functional teams and spearheading the development of data services from inception
- Strong communication skills with the ability to analyze intricate business challenges and devise effective solutions
Responsibilities
- Directing the technical design of data solutions for internal software platforms and external customers
- Crafting and executing secure, scalable, high-performance, and resilient data services for connected vehicle information in distributed processing environments utilizing contemporary Big Data technologies
- Making informed technology and architectural choices with input from diverse technical teams, guiding implementation while influencing adjacent departments to foster collaborative outcomes
- Leading initiatives to ensure consistent instrumentation across various software platforms and features
- Developing comprehensive processes to standardize troubleshooting through exemplary documentation (e.g., runbooks)
- Innovatively resolving obstacles and integrating into multiple processes and initiatives to achieve objectives
- Cultivating relationships with key partners and stakeholders to address upstream and downstream dependencies
- Mentoring and supporting team members to promote their development and success
