Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field - Minimum 5 years of experience in product design and development - Strong knowledge of internal combustion engine components - Proficiency in CAD software and FEA tools - Experience with the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) - Familiarity with engineering documentation and BOM management - Effective communication and collaboration skills - Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities

- Lead the design and development of cranktrain components for internal combustion engines - Develop and enhance concepts based on requirements for functionality, safety, reliability, and performance - Support CAD modeling, FEA, and other design validation techniques to ensure compliance with standards - Collaborate with various engineering teams to integrate components into the engine system - Work alongside manufacturing teams to refine designs for efficiency - Manage design release processes from concept to production, ensuring timely completion of milestones - Own Engineering Bill of Materials and Change Notices for structural components - Ensure compliance with quality, cost, and timing specifications - Facilitate Production Part Approval Process for lubrication system components - Coordinate efforts with cross-functional teams to achieve successful releases and implementations - Provide technical guidance and resolution support during development and production phases - Conduct DFMEA and risk assessments to ensure design robustness - Participate in developing testing strategies for components - Provide leadership and problem-solving support for hardware-related challenges - Collaborate effectively with suppliers to ensure manufacturability and design feasibility - Partner with validation teams to ensure components meet performance metrics - Support engine integration to ensure proper fitment and safety
