Must:
We at STELLANTIS Engineering are in search of a certified Six Sigma Black Belt who has extensive knowledge in Automotive Electrical, Electronics, and Software systems. This role is crucial in spearheading strategic quality and process enhancement initiatives throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to addressing in-field customer quality concerns. Additionally, this position involves training, mentoring, and overseeing skill development across global cross-functional teams in Engineering while working collaboratively with Software Engineering (SWE) and Customer Experience Teams.
Responsibilities
Lean Six Sigma Leadership:
- Lead and implement high-impact Lean Six Sigma projects across both product development and quality areas.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective measures for complex design and field challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Validation, Manufacturing, Quality, and Service) to address systemic issues.
Training & Skills Management:
- Develop and deliver tailored training programs in Six Sigma, problem-solving, and quality tools focused on the Automotive Electrical/Electronics/Software sectors, with support and collaboration from Customer Experience – Proactive Quality Teams.
- Evaluate skill gaps and create structured development plans for engineers and quality specialists.
- Establish and oversee certification programs for Green Belts and Black Belts within the organization.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Product Development Quality:
- Assist design teams in applying DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) principles during the concept and development stages, along with other preventive quality tools and reactive problem-solving techniques to reduce design risks.
- Lead cross-functional reviews of field quality issues, warranty data, and customer complaints to identify systemic design or process weaknesses.
- Facilitate closed-loop corrective actions and integrate lessons learned into future programs.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Leverage statistical tools and software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and extensively utilize artificial intelligence to analyze quality data and discern trends.
- Create dashboards and reports to track project performance, quality KPIs, and training effectiveness.
