Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Software Validation Engineer in the automotive sector
- Strong understanding of embedded systems and automotive software standards such as AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and ASPICE
- Proficiency in developing test plans, test cases, and validation strategies
- Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies
- Familiarity with debugging tools like Lauterbach, CANoe, and Vector tools
- Skills in scripting languages such as Python and CAPL
- Excellent analytical skills for troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Strong collaboration skills to work across interdisciplinary teams
Responsibilities
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and validation strategies for Base Software modules
- Conduct manual and automated tests in various environments including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SiL)
- Assist in BSW integration and validation within multi-ECU architectures
- Analyze testing outcomes, resolve issues, and perform root cause investigations with developers and engineers
- Ensure adherence to automotive software regulations and validation guidelines
- Utilize debugging and logging tools to assess system performance
- Engage in the ongoing enhancement of validation frameworks by developing reusable test scripts
- Work collaboratively with diverse teams to align validation efforts with project timelines
- Help maintain traceability from requirements to corresponding test cases
