Product Design Engineer

- Spearhead the design of powercell components, ensuring alignment with vehicle specifications - Develop and enhance cranktrain concepts based on functional and performance criteria - Support CAD modeling and other design validation techniques - Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate components into the engine system - Manage design release activities and ensure timely achievement of milestones - Maintain oversight of the Engineering Bill of Materials and Change Notices for structural components - Ensure compliance of all parts with quality and regulatory standards - Drive the Production Part Approval Process to meet specifications - Coordinate with manufacturing and quality teams for successful release and implementation - Provide technical guidance during development stages to solve design challenges - Lead DFMEA and risk assessment initiatives to strengthen design robustness - Participate in the development of validation testing strategies - Drive effective communication and collaboration with suppliers and validation teams - Partner with vehicle teams for proper component integration and safety - Support engine manufacturing processes through collaboration and guidance - Maintain accurate engineering documentation and report on project statuses
