Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in vehicle performance or a related field
- Strong leadership skills for managing engineering teams
- Proficient in developing and executing Design Verification Plans
- Excellent understanding of customer functional objectives and performance targets
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and facilitate discussions
- Experience in process improvement initiatives
Responsibilities
- Define and refine customer functional objectives related to vehicle performance
- Support the creation and execution of Design Verification Plans at the vehicle level
- Review functional objective scorecards from performance engineers
- Lead attribute teams and respond to technical club and program requests
- Oversee a team of engineers dedicated to core vehicle performance attributes
- Ensure timely completion of program milestones and review associated scorecards
- Facilitate critical discussions and assessments of potential risks
- Review risk presentations and updates for ongoing programs
- Conduct regular reviews to align customer functional objectives with specifications
- Identify and implement initiatives for harmonization and efficiency
