Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in design and development of exhaust systems and heat shields
- Experience in quality improvement and value optimization strategies
- Knowledge of weight reduction techniques and efficiency enhancement initiatives
- Excellent communication skills to relay technical product status to management
- Ability to collaborate with suppliers and internal/external teams
Responsibilities
- Design and develop the exhaust system and/or underbody heat shields for a vehicle line
- Manage the timing and production release of components
- Implement quality improvements and value optimization initiatives
- Drive weight reduction efforts and other efficiency improvements
- Coordinate with suppliers, testing and prototype labs, and manufacturing plants
