Requirements

Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field - Proven experience in designing mechanical components, preferably within the automotive sector - Proficient with CAD software and Finite Element Analysis tools - Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials - Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Experience in leading cross-functional teams and projects - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in automotive industry

Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of lubrication system components, ensuring they meet specifications - Create and refine designs for components such as oil pumps, coolers, and filters to comply with safety and performance standards - Support and conduct structural integrity assessments through CAD modeling and analysis - Collaborate with various engineering teams to seamlessly integrate components into the vehicle system - Oversee design release processes from concept to production, ensuring all milestones are achieved - Manage the Engineering Bill of Materials and ensure compliance with cost and quality benchmarks - Drive the Production Part Approval Process for lubrication components, ensuring adherence to specifications - Coordinate with stakeholders including suppliers and quality teams for successful design implementation - Provide technical leadership during development to troubleshoot design and manufacturing challenges - Lead risk assessment initiatives to enhance design robustness and reliability - Participate in formulating tests for components to validate performance criteria
