We are seeking a Design Release Engineer (DRE) with extensive expertise in seating system engineering. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical understanding of all seating elements, as well as interfacing commodities like the interior cockpit, trim, restraints, body, and electrical systems. You will ensure that our designs comply with performance metrics, cost parameters, and timelines.

Responsibilities
- Component Ownership:
- Lead the design and release of various seating components, ensuring their timely delivery for final seat assembly.
- Ensure that all designs fulfill functional, aesthetic, durability, and regulatory standards.
- Engineering Execution:
- Oversee the design and development processes in alignment with our established design practices.
- Ensure that seating system packages fit correctly and integrate seamlessly into vehicles.
- Manage change control through the CN/PLM systems.
- Supplier Interface:
- Collaborate closely with suppliers to assess design feasibility and address engineering challenges, manufacturing constraints, and quality initiatives.
- Assist in supporting DFMEA, DVP&R, and follow-up validation activities.
- Program Delivery:
- Monitor and achieve program timeline, cost, and quality objectives.
- Resolve technical issues swiftly and escalate any risks as necessary.
- Assist in launch and plant build events.
