Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field
- Experience in component design and development
- Proficiency with CAD software, specifically Teamcenter
- Strong understanding of design verification processes and testing
- Ability to manage change and maintain bills of materials
- Familiarity with weight reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives
- Excellent problem-solving skills for technical issues
- Experience in supporting production and assembly environments
- Strong communication skills for conveying technical information to management
Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering and design of power folding fabric top systems
- Ensure components align with vehicle functional objectives
- Create and manage Design Verification Plans & Reports (DVPR)
- Oversee change management processes and bill of material updates
- Support prototype and production builds with technical expertise
- Manage CAD models and technical documentation in Teamcenter
- Drive weight and cost reduction initiatives across projects
- Collaborate with vehicle assembly plants to resolve product issues
- Assist service teams with warranty concerns and root cause analyses
