Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or related field
- Experience in quality assurance, warranty analysis, or a related area
- Proficiency in documentation and reporting of technical issues
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement design changes
- Familiarity with interaction between suppliers and internal teams
- Excellent communication skills for technical status updates
- Knowledge of quality improvement and efficiency enhancement initiatives
Responsibilities
- Review warranty and quality concerns for the exhaust line from manifold to tailpipe
- Analyze parts and document potential issues as they arise
- Implement solutions and mitigation efforts, including necessary design modifications and validations
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal/external teams such as testing labs and manufacturing plants
- Drive quality enhancements, value optimization, and weight reduction projects
- Communicate technical product status effectively to management
