Requirements
Must:
- Five or more years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with DISA STIG standards
- Experience working in Azure Government GCC or other regulated cloud settings
- Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
- Strong understanding of federal compliance frameworks and security requirements
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
- Familiar with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong scripting abilities using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar languages
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure in Azure, including Azure Government GCC environments
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Build, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines for secure and automated deployments
- Ensure systems comply with federal regulations such as NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA, and CMMC
- Collaborate with security teams to apply best practices for access control, logging, monitoring, and incident response
- Monitor system performance, availability, and optimize costs across cloud environments
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues in development, staging, and production settings
- Document architecture, processes, and operational practices
- Assist with audits and compliance assessments as necessary
Description
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to create, implement, and manage secure and scalable cloud infrastructure that supports vital systems. Our ideal candidate will have substantial hands-on expertise in Azure, specifically within GCC environments, with experience in infrastructure as code using Terraform, alongside a solid grasp of federal compliance frameworks. This role necessitates close cooperation with our engineering, security, and operations teams to guarantee reliability, automation, and compliance throughout our cloud platforms.
