Requirements

Must:
- Six (6) years of professional full-time experience in contract management, legal document review, regulatory examinations, regulatory compliance, or health care benefit plan design, distribution, or administration. - Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. - Bachelors Degree in public administration, business administration, law/legal studies, finance or related field, or an equivalent foreign degree can substitute for relevant experience. - For FPA3: HCBM Analyst position, advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs and experience in work organization with strict timelines. - For FPA3: Provider Contract Analyst position, familiarity with SERFF software, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and industry-specific designations like FLMI or HIA is preferred.

- Review contract filings from health carriers, Health Care Benefit Managers (HCBMs), providers, and related entities for accuracy and regulatory compliance. - Analyze and interpret contract language, identifying issues and documenting findings in a comprehensive manner. - Conduct research and provide expert guidance related to contract provisions and case law interpretations to various stakeholders. - Evaluate provider contracts, focusing on terms affecting consumer access and network adequacy, while collaborating with insurers and legal partners to address concerns. - Ensure that contracts adhered to Washington State insurance laws, federal laws, and applicable regulations. - Make clear recommendations for bringing non-compliant contracts into alignment with regulatory requirements. - Collaborate with colleagues on issues impacting the broader insurance marketplace to uphold consistent contract review standards.
