Requirements
Must:
- Six (6) years of professional experience in contract management, regulatory compliance, or healthcare benefit plan design.
- A degree in public administration, business administration, law/legal studies, finance, or a related field from an accredited institution may substitute for relevant experience.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word are preferred.
- Proven ability to organize work, set timelines, and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate contracts between insurance companies and healthcare providers for compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Analyze complex contract documents to identify issues and non-compliance risks.
- Understand and illustrate the connections between different entities involved in contract relationships and their impact on provider networks.
- Apply applicable laws and regulations to real-world contracts and thoroughly document findings and recommendations.
- Communicate compliance concerns and review outcomes with stakeholders including insurance companies and attorneys.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to address complex issues and maintain consistent review standards.
- Research regulatory requirements and offer guidance on provider network management and contract compliance.
- Track contract review processes to ensure timely approvals and accurate regulatory documentation.
- Assist with training and engage in additional projects as assigned.
