Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, business, mathematics, engineering, or a closely related field
- Three years of relevant work experience, including programming IT systems, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
- Knowledge of computer science principles, systems analysis, data management, and project management
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and familiarity with database applications
- Strong skills in research, analysis, and attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to follow instructions
- Capability to manage multiple priorities within deadlines
- Valid drivers license for potential travel
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and verification of current tax status
Responsibilities
- Review assigned tasks and manage Service Requests (SRs) submitted by users
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the GenTax system
- Collaborate with a team of developers to enhance and support the tax software
- Develop public-facing forms and support end-user requirements
- Conduct testing and participate in meetings concerning software enhancements
- Occasionally work outside of regular hours to implement necessary software changes
- Maintain documentation and follow procedures for systems design and testing
- Provide customer service and conflict resolution as needed
