Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in ASP.NET with C# for transactional, web-based software development
- Proficient in developing and managing large-scale software applications
- Skilled in enhancing and upgrading SQL Server databases
- Familiarity with JavaScript, JAVA, HTML, and CSS preferred
- Understanding of UML, software architecture, development life cycle, and testing procedures
- Knowledge of Crystal Reports or Microsoft Reporting Services
- Proficiency in SQL and PL-SQL
- Awareness of State and Federal accessibility regulations
- Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Define, design, code, test, implement, document, maintain, and support the Alcoholic Beverages & Tobacco Electronic Data System (EDS) and related applications
- Develop quality software that meets business requirements following the approved software development life cycle
- Gather and manage user requirements, and review designs with stakeholders
- Code, debug, and implement solutions while unit testing thoroughly
- Optimize software code and database for performance and maintainability
- Troubleshoot issues with applications, databases, and reports to identify causes and resolutions
- Document applications, databases, interfaces, and reports as per established documentation standards
- Train help desk personnel, users, and developers as necessary
- Manage tasks according to team practices using approved change management software
- Provide regular status reports and attend relevant meetings
- Undertake other related duties as required
