Director of IT Operations and Strategy

- Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and hardware - Ensure maximum uptime for critical systems and manage the primary website infrastructure - Develop and implement IT policies including security, disaster recovery, and incident response plans - Analyze and recommend improvements for technology infrastructure - Formulate and execute an AI strategy aligned with organizational goals and operational efficiency - Regularly update servers and workstations with necessary manufacturer updates - Establish an effective incident response system to meet service level agreements - Collaborate with management to determine system requirements for new technology - Optimize the allocation of IT resources throughout the organization - Maintain an asset management system for all IT equipment - Supervise IT staff and foster skill development within the team - Standardize project management methodologies within IT initiatives - Maintain open lines of communication with executives and end-users concerning IT activities - Assist departmental directors with implementation strategies for new technologies - Oversee database management and optimize use of shared information - Manage the organizations internet domains, SSL certificates, and network configurations - Conduct staff training sessions on IT security and applications - Serve as the organizations PCI Compliance officer and manage training programs - Prepare the IT department budget and assist in the formulation of other departmental budgets - Create an environment that emphasizes high-quality and customer-centric IT services - Continuously evaluate risks and maintain effective disaster recovery plans - Manage integration of third-party systems with the organizations primary website - Utilize network security measures to achieve a protected network environment - Advise senior leadership on emerging technology trends and risks
