Requirements
Must:
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript with practical applications in production systems
- Familiar with modern frontend frameworks, preferably React/Next.js
- Backend skills, especially in Node.js or similar technologies
- Knowledge of BaaS platforms such as Appwrite, Supabase, or Firebase
- Experience in deploying applications to cloud or edge environments
- Proven record of shipping and maintaining live production systems
- Adaptable to high-growth settings with shifting priorities
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features using Appwrite, including authentication, databases, storage, and serverless functions
- Implement Cloudflare Workers, Pages, caching strategies, and R2 storage integrations
- Create high-performance frontend experiences, ideally with React/Next.js
- Design permission systems and secure access control flows
- Optimize system performance and reduce latency
- Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code
- Collaborate closely with product and project leadership
- Independently research and implement solutions in ambiguous situations
