Requirements

Must:
- Must possess a Public Trust 6c Clearance (US Citizenship required) - Preferred Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) but not mandatory - Minimum of 7 years hands-on experience with data networks focusing on Routing Protocols (OSPF/BGP) and Switching Technologies (Spanning Tree, VSS) - Familiarity with IPSEC VPNs and DMVPN - Experience with Cisco Prime, Solarwinds, and ServiceNow is a plus - Proficient in administration, maintenance, and installation of Cisco platforms - Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously - Strong collaborative skills to work with project teams and management - Exceptional team player and mentor - Effective communication with Network Engineers and Government leadership - Experience with DMVPN and SDWAN is preferred

Responsibilities

- Provide support to internal teams and Federal Agencies regarding data networks and applications - Collaborate with internal teams and Federal Agencies to design and implement data solutions utilizing Routing Protocols (OSPF/BGP) and Hub and Spoke Topologies (IPSEC VPNs/DMVPN/SDWAN) - Oversee the operation and maintenance of data networks and systems using Cisco products - Provision new sites in accordance with enterprise standards - Monitor network performance and implement measures to ensure optimal functionality - Propose enhancements and strategic improvements for data networks - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data networks - Implement and diagnose enterprise network-related solutions, incidents, and system outages - Assist the Network Architect in advancing network engineering initiatives for project-related and ongoing operations support - Direct a team of Network Engineers - Address escalated incidents and service requests from Delivery and Operations Teams - Coordinate planned maintenance activities, oversee service outages (both planned and unplanned), and provide ongoing project-related support
