Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in end-to-end software engineering or solution architecture throughout the software delivery lifecycle
- Proficiency in software service design and integration, including RESTful APIs, OpenAPI specification, and sequence diagrams
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and large-scale cloud applications
- Experience in client-facing roles, building solid relationships with stakeholders
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and collaboration capabilities, adept at conveying complex messages to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Desirable experience in retail or business banking, core banking, card processing, or payments
- Background in delivery and implementation of core banking or large-scale digital transformation projects, application migration, and solution integration
- Business acumen and experience in developing compelling business cases
- Previous experience in a SaaS organization in either Client Solutions or Client Engineering roles
- Knowledge of global financial regulations
Responsibilities
- Leverage your understanding of Engine technology and architecture to articulate product details, identify client needs, and design client solutions
- Engage in both the sales and project delivery phases while ensuring ongoing client satisfaction
- Collaborate with various teams across Engine, including Technology, Delivery, Product, Client Success, and Business Development
- Facilitate travel across North America to support client engagements, with potential for further travel
- Lead technical design efforts during the Engine implementation phase, fostering relationships with different stakeholders such as Engineering leads and Service Owners
- Collaborate closely with clients and system integrators to discuss the technical aspects of Engine implementation, delivering solutions to meet identified needs
- Work alongside Product and engineering teams to ensure successful fulfillment of requirements
- Contribute to shaping Engines product roadmap and assist existing clients in maximising additional capabilities to align with their strategic goals
- Document scope and roadmap decisions meticulously to guide subsequent delivery phases, integrating insights from Product Owners and engineering teams
- Act as a technical advocate for existing clients to guarantee their continuous success and smooth integration with our services
- Provide expert guidance to client engineering teams using comprehensive documentation, API specifications, and diagrams
- Work together with our Client Success team to resolve technical issues, transform client requirements into new technical directives, and propose innovative solutions to enhance the Engine platform
