Must:
- We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- We look for 4+ years of experience using analytics and optimization tools to guide product planning and prioritization.
- We require 4+ years of experience collaborating with design and engineering teams to deliver customer-facing features.
- We need 4+ years of experience building roadmaps and backlogs, writing user stories, and resolving conflicting requirements in a fast-moving environment.
- We require 4+ years of industry experience in a technology setting delivering complex products.
- Preferred: We value 7+ years of experience delivering complex products in a technology environment, including cross-functional roadmaps and technically intricate features.
- Preferred: We favor recent experience delivering web and/or mobile products, along with the ability to read and understand code; prior programming experience is a plus.
- Preferred: We value 5+ years of hands-on product planning, including technical roadmaps, story outlines, acceptance criteria, and large-scale backlog refinement.
- Preferred: We need strong influence skills, clear communication, excellent organization, and comfort managing competing priorities.
- Preferred: We value deep familiarity with Agile methods and related tools.
Responsibilities
- We define product direction and value by aligning business needs with technical goals, prioritizing effectively, and establishing product health and performance metrics.
- We translate business needs into actionable work by writing clear epics and user stories, setting acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements, and clarifying tradeoffs, dependencies, and limitations.
- We drive delivery and business outcomes through iterative Agile practices, partnering with design and engineering on estimation and planning, removing blockers, supporting user review and acceptance, and measuring post-launch success to improve product health.
- We collaborate closely in a highly cross-functional environment to help engineering teams design, build, release, and monitor solutions efficiently.
- We bring a focus on simple, engaging experiences that improve the customer journey.
