Requirements

Must:
- We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field. - We want at least 2 years of professional experience in software development. - We prefer 5+ years of experience working with SQL-based platforms. - We prefer 2+ years of experience with NoSQL systems, or strong exposure to them. - We prefer 5+ years of experience using Spark and/or the Hadoop ecosystem, such as Hadoop, YARN, MapReduce, Pig, or Hive. - We prefer 1+ years of experience implementing data platforms on Azure or AWS, with advanced scope aligning to 2+ years. - We prefer 1+ years of experience with CI/CD tools and practices, with advanced scope aligning to 2+ years. - We prefer 2+ years of exposure to SOA architecture and service integration patterns. - We need proficiency in Java, Scala, or C#, along with strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills. - We value experience with shell scripting, logging and monitoring practices, and enterprise deployment standards. - We look for experience productionizing big data solutions. - Familiarity with Tableau or similar analytics tools is a plus. - We value a proven ability to mentor others and thrive in Agile and DevOps environments.

Responsibilities

- We design, develop, test, and support enterprise data services that power analytics and business decision-making. - We build and maintain highly available data pipelines for both batch and real-time processing at scale. - We partner across teams to translate strategic needs into practical technical solutions. - We help define requirements, establish data governance and retention practices, and strengthen standards and reliability. - We improve operational excellence through automation, monitoring, documentation, performance analysis, and root-cause resolution. - We collaborate with peer support teams and vendors when needed to resolve issues and keep platforms running smoothly.
