Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or 5+ years of equivalent experience in cybersecurity engineering related roles. - 6+ years of experience in the information technology field. - 6+ years of experience in infrastructure or information security. - 4+ years of experience with infrastructure as code technologies. - Proven experience in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting cybersecurity tools in enterprise settings. - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISSM, or others focused on cybersecurity, data privacy, or information risk management. - Advanced understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices. - Familiarity with technologies such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems. - Acquainted with security frameworks and compliance standards. - Proficient in implementing and managing security controls and technologies. - Knowledgeable about network security protocols and concepts. - Comfortable with operating systems and network architectures. - In-depth expertise in enterprise-level cybersecurity strategies, frameworks, and technologies. - Skilled in conducting security assessments and audits. - Capable of developing and implementing security policies and procedures. - Experienced in managing and responding to security incidents. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Advanced proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Go, Python, Ruby, C++, or C#. - Advanced skills in interacting with APIs and automating tasks using common scripting languages.

Responsibilities

- Take ownership and manage core application security testing services through in-house penetration testing, continuous DAST scanning, and providing oversight for vendor-delivered penetration testing including compliance-related testing to ensure quality, consistency, and risk-based reporting. - Generate application security outcomes by converting findings into clear, actionable remediation guidance across web, mobile, and API services, collaborating with engineering teams to mitigate recurring issues and enhance risk posture over time. - Engage and influence throughout the organization by mentoring colleagues, advising engineering leaders, and acting as an application security subject matter expert during security incidents and vulnerability disclosures, ensuring threats are managed and lessons are integrated into tighter controls.
